2007-06-06: I like to built a "better" compatibility list and encourage everyone to contribute and leave some notes preferable here or via email. Nokia Mobile Phones
SyncML 1.1 support

The SyncML plugin currently (2005-11-07) supports only SyncML 1.2 and the Server Alerted Notification packages for starting synchronization. The "1.1 way" of a server-alerted notification needs to be implemented. (2007-01-10) First success with "1.1 way" notification with SyncML 1.2 and a Nokia E63. Nokia-specific requirements
The Nokia SyncML implementation also has some specific requirements about the needed OBEX (specially the "end of body" header and the wbxml Final element). More info in the above URL.
USB support
Support to USB on openobex and libsyncml is needed for USB support.
Integration with Alexander Kanavin's openobex USB support is being implemented, now (2005-11-07).
