Running out of memory when trying to sync evolution with gpe

Description (Last modified by felixmoeller)

When I try to sync evolution (Ubuntu: Hardy heron) to gpe (n770) the transfer appears to stall for about 5 minutes. During this time 1 core is pegged at 100% and memory utilization goes steadily up until both real and swap are gradually used up. After the memory is used up the program responds back with the following:

Glib-ERROR **: /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.16.3/glib/gmem.c:175 failed to allocate 2147483648 bytes
aborting...
Member 2 of type gpe-sync had an error while getting changes: Broken Pipe

etc.

I have had similar problems with other version of Ubuntu as well.

I have installed libopensync-plugin-gpe-0.22-1 and opensync 0.22-2.

Any help appreciated.
